Delco System
Delco System
Just want to let everyone know if you’re wanting to keep your stock Delco radio and need it repaired I just used a guy from Waverly, Nebraska. His company is called Wags and is on Facebook or at WagsKlassics@gmail.com. I just used him for fixing my radio/cassette and had him install a Bluetooth option. Love the Bluetooth and everything sounds great. He even lets you know what he repaired. I also blew two speakers when I was younger and bought a set of Kickers specifically designed for the 3rd gen and they dropped right in.

Re: Delco System
I didn’t want aux jack just Bluetooth. I bought Kicker speakers specifically designed for 3rd gen Camaro. Came in a kit with all four plus cables letting me use the existing wiring.

Re: Delco System
I don't care to throw up red flags,.... but there is a potential for problems.
I see 2 things "wrong" about the speakers you posted in this case:
1) The rear 3-way is going to provide you with too many "highs". Best match for the car is what came with it,.. a dual-cone 6x9 woofer.
2) ALL those speakers are 4-OHM speakers. #1 way too burn out a factory Delco head unit is to connect it to 4 4-OHM speakers to it; AT SOME POINT: the AMP(s) chips inside the radio will overheat and burn out.
FRONT = 4x6" 10-OHM
REAR - 6x9" 4-OHM
Just because it's made to "fit",... doesn't mean it's "right"; Aftermarket radios are made to connect to 4-4-OHM speakers,...NOT factory radios.
This info is true if you are simply connecting the speakers directly to a Delco head unit; ALL bets are off if you are adding an aftermarket AMP !
