Re: Tech: How to bypass VATS

As stated, I have power to the yellow wire, when in the crank position, that goes to the connection that goes into the relay.

Re: Tech: How to bypass VATS

There is no large green wire in that connection. From my view point Only the large yellow and 1 large yellow/green one, a smaller yellow/green one and a large tarnish wire on the opposite end from the yellow one. Only the yellow was getting power.

Re: Tech: How to bypass VATS

New 92 Z28 owner,,,,,, I'm trying to bypass VATS via the resistor Method A. On the voltmeter my key reads 68 ohms on the 20K ohm setting. I assumed that meant key #3 (with a 681 range). Am I confused, or should I proceed looking for a 68 ohm resistor. Thanks in advance.

Re: Tech: How to bypass VATS

I lowered the scale (2,000?) and got a reading of 689. So #3 it is. Thanks for assist Tuned Performance. Now to find a 680 resistor....

And if you have your dash out for Vintage Air, I can show a pic of the Pass Key module.
