Just wanted to know which one you guys were using to make these changes might buy one if its not to expensive

I use CS6, but I stay on top of it at work for other reasons.

What most of us on the boards do can be done with Just about any version of photoshop though.

Adobe has Creative Suite 2 up for free. Mainly because they are tired of spending $$$ supporting the old servers, but businesses still use it for production work at times.

I use Gimp for everything 'cause it's free and works pretty darn well once you figure it out.

Gimp is good, though I its nowhere near as intuitive as Photoshop. It is free, and open source though which is good.

If Photoshop CS2 were not free I wouldn't recommend it, but since it is.....

 

I use CS4. I took the class at my community college. CS5 & CS6 are a whole new set of bananas. All the sub-menus are different and are mixed around.

 

Usually CS6, but I also have CS5 for sitegrinder work.
