Engine Heat
Engine Heat
I've got a lot of Engine Heat coming into the cabin of the car. The Heater, Defroster both work, but my AC has no freon. But the heat that i am talking about comes into the car even if i have the AC on or off; Heater on or off; Defroster on or off. Any suggestions? I think it might be the vents stuck on open, but i don't know how to find out for sure. Are there manual levers to open and shut vents? Are the only vents the ones on the dashboard?
Thanks !!!!!!!
P.S.
I've got a '91 305 TPI for sale. I have the entire engine minus the Intake. I also have a Rear bumper that came off a '97 Silverado. It is complete. Asking $800 for the 1991 305 TPI or best offer. Asking $200 for the rear bumper off the 97 Chevy Silverado.
Thanks !!!!!!!

I have the same problem with my 91 formula. The heat comes in around the opening for the parking brake, just like the heater is on. When I turn on the air conditioner, it stops, I think because the fan turns on and disperses the heat better. Its kind of a drag here in Houston now that it is hot. For me there is no vent, it just comes in whereever there is an opening.
