Maybe I'll make it to a meet one day....when I finally get the 84 running again. So far I've had it for a good 1 1/2 years, and it has only ran for about 2 months.
The new plan is a heads/cam LS1 with a TH400 trans & 4400+ stall

We start getting there around 3 and if nothing else is planed then we might still be there till 5.
It just depends on the weather and how many people show up on how late we stay.

Probably around 5:00pm - 5:15pm. We are going to be meeting there at 6:00.

 

man i wish i didnt have to work every saturday
oh well when i get 40 to 55 hours a week my car reaps the benifit...

Gathering this Saturday in Grapevine!
The crew is talking about meeting, hanging out and then doing a short road trip.
Maybe even hitting the car show on Denton highway that night.

I probably won't make it.
I have plans for that night though I may make it out to Spring Creek in the Dakota for a few minutes.

 

Why is there not a sticky on the DFW area meets?
There is one for the Houston meets...

 

DFW is not as special or anything.

I still love you guys We need to organize a Texas-Wide thirdgen meet sometime, so everyone can get together!

 

That would be awesome to have everyone meet in the middle. (And quit singing that country song to yourself, there is no georgia pine here)

 

How many folks would come to a meet in Austin. Let's get a count. We can meet in North Austin which would drop a meet dead center between Dallas and Houston. San Antonio would be a minimal ride.

If we get some solid commitment I will take some time to get a meeting place. Would be a gathering / picnic only. No track within less than an hour from here. We can do a show that requires a pre-paid admission and get some trophies and awards / giveaways. If this sounds interesting then say so!

 

We should probably start a thread to get people interested, and get some dates thrown out there. Some people might not check out this thread because of the name.

 

when is the july meet? is it tomorrow? on the 17th? if so im going but my car dont work yet, unless i get it running tomorrow?

The problem is your email address, it would not go threw and got bounced back to me.
You might want to change it if you have a different one.

And any time you have a problem with the board you can send me an email.

 

i have signed up two seperate times for the nttga board, this second time i was keeping track and now i cant log in, before i left it along for ages before going back, now it was a few days, i checked the board members list and my username is gone. i had the account verified and made some posts, why wont it work now?
my user name there is the same as here

 

When we moved to the new site we uploaded the data file from the old site, seem that a few of the user got lost in the upload. So if you regasted before we did the upload then your user name got deleted in the upload.
All of the other ones that got lost were from people that had 0 post or no post for over 6 months.
Might want to just rejoin up.

I looked at it last night, you show up on the members list on the old board but not the new one. The reason is the data file that we used was before you joined so that's why you are not there.
