Would any of ya'll be up for a cruise to Austin to meet up with the NTTGA and SA guys for a cruise to the track in Temple?
Scott's got a post called Central Texas Car Show that ya'll should check out.
There's not too many details because we don't have THAT many people willin' to do this. The NTTGA and SA guys don't wanna cruise to Austin for a thirdgen day if there's only gonna be like 10 people there. Anyone interested???

I will be there, bringing 3 GTA's. 1 old and worn out, 1 partially restored and pretty nice and 1 supercharged and fast. We are already in Austin. Just need a date

Kewl, another Central Texas thirdgenner. Damn..3 GTAs? I look forward to seein' 'em! BTW, did you happen to be at the AFB car cruise a month or so ago? I only ask, because I saw a maroon GTA there and was wondering who else was a thirdgenner. Got any pics of your cars??

No I was not at the cruise. My GTA is a maroon 87 but it is the old and worn out of the 3. My brothers is a red 91 and he has been fixing it up. interior is looking good but the paint is rough when you get up close. My buddy has the SC car. it is a 91 with a Kenny Duetweiller (sp) built 355 Dynoed over 500 ATW on pump gas. Hope Zimmstoy can get the Austin GTG setup.

 

would like to go but not quite up to snuff yet, still have some handling issues that I need to get fixed up before making a long road trip... then again, who knows, when did you say this was all going down?

 

Kidtxn got in touch with the track owner and it does not look like we can get it all to ourselves. We will begin looking into some other options!

 

Well, let's see what we want:
1) just a get together, some b-b-q, checkin' out each others cars
2) meet, cruise to a nice place for b-b-q
3) meet, cruise to nice place to have a afternoon checkin' out each others' cars, and such....then cruise to a track at night

Just throwin' out ideas here. When I say b-b-q...I just mean some things that can be cooked on a small grill or something.
I really like the idea of a cruise to the track....we did it at the H-Town gathering and it was a blast.

When should we have this thing also? Early-mid Septemeber maybe? Give people some time to plan and check out some details.
