Barry will probably want in after he gets his tranny fixed.
I want to get with Mikeee and do some chip tuning now that I got a head job and my injecter cleaned!
WAIT--that doesn't sound right (although it does sound pretty good!)...now that I got a valve job, replaced the broken rocker arms (with new set of roller rockers), and clean/flow test-matched the SVO 24# er's. Still waiting to get all the parts back in place, so I can reassemble.

Well, I know it's bad luck to talk about it, but the weather forecast doesn't look too good for the gathering this Sat-Jan 1st!
If I remember right, the "rain date" is the following Sat Jan. 8th same time-same place (I think).
Hey Mikeee... is that right?
If we do have to fall back on the rain date, the pavillion will not be reserved--we will just have to take pot luck on that particular pavillion, like we did at the summer meet. The good thing is that the park is very big and there should not be a problem in finding an area to hang out.

Not sure what type of dyno they got, but if its a dyno jet it takes about 5 minutes to hook a car up. The dyno itself is about another 3-5 minutes. So I would say roughly 15 minutes per car that is if your dynoing each car once and then pulling it off the dyno.
I just got back from the dyno yesterday, doesn't take long at all. From the time it took to pull on the dyno, till the first run was completed, was maybe 10 minutes. This was at Horsepower Engineering up on the northwest side and on a Mustang Dyno, but the procedure would be the same for a Dynojet.
I was originally going to get the dyno for an hour, which cost $125 for the Mustang Dyno with wideband A/F, or I think $100 for the Dynojet without A/F, but I had some problems on it so he only charged me for 2 runs, which came out to $75.

Just out of curiosity does anyone know if the guys at conleys will let you drive your own car on the dyno or do they have to do it? Because the guy who had this car before me totally screwed up when he installed this B&M megashifter in my car and its really hard to get it into the right gear and theres go indicator to tell you what gear your in and I would really rather not have to explain it all to the guys up there if I did go. I wish I new what the hell the problem was Ive already replaced the shifter cable and its still not fixed. I may just need to completely replace the shifter.

Im really not sure but you can call them there number is at the bottom of the first add that I posted.
Are you aware that when you install the cable to the trans you need to first place the shifter in park then place the trans in park at the trasmission manually before tightening the cable into place or the shifter will be out of synchronization. Even though you place the trans in park manually the slot is elongated leaving you two places to tighten the bolt of coarse one being right and the other wrong.

Yeah I did that. Also another problem I have is that when the car is in park it acts like nuetral. The wheels dont stay locked and the car will just roll like its in nuetral. Its crazy, but the guy who had this car before me was an absolute moron, but then again maybe Im the idiot for still driving the car around with one of his mistakes.

Broke a rocker arm at Sealy drag strip a few weeks ago (actually the ball that fits inside rocker) had the heads redone--had to replace all the intake--worm thru in the guide area--guides were ok!
Waiting on new roller rockers to arrive
Waiting on injectors to come back from Crizin Performance
Have to go get gaskets
Reassemble engine
Then I have to fix the posi unit I fried
After I was gonna get Mikeee to go ahead and do the chip we have been talking about for months.
As slow as I work because of all my physical limitations (SUCKS GETTING OLD!!!) it might be a few weeks.

One thing I have been contemplating about doing was us having a couple of us guys who do have roll aways with air tools get to gether and help some people who are struggling with
1. lack of tools for a big job (air tools ,ramps, heavy duty jack etc
2. possibly lack knowledge of certaing aspects of a tpi motor etc
3. plain ole just getting old or just need an extra hand to get things done.
things just go so much faster with two guys knocking out some of this work and I now have most my weekends off and I will help any one close by..possibly just for gas money..
