Anyone know of a shop that can finish Kitt?

Anyone know of a good shop, with a fair price to finish Kitt? I don't have the time or patience to finish it anymore. There's not a lot to do....It starts...sometimes. It just don't run, and a lot of times it won't start at all.
They'll need to know enough about LT1's and thirdgens to be able to get the the LT1 to work in my '88 T/A.
I'm sick of dealing with it! Anyone?
Preferrably in the Central Texas area....
Here's a thread concerning the state Kitt's in right now:

That sucks...

After all the crap I went through with my car and computer issues.. I can safely say I know quite a bit about 165 and 730 swaps. FbodTrek has had is own issues with PCM's and he may be having another issue today. Outta nowhere now his car barely starts and runs like ****.

I can't really help you with the LT1 stuff. I would if I could :/

THanks, that'd be cool.
A friend of mine from AustinThirdGen.Org suggested a guy who knows LT1's and LS1's pretty well. I'll see if I can talk with him about it too.
Right now, I don't care if it's fast. I just want the damn thing to run. I haven't driven it in 9 months, I WANT MY CAR BACK!

One thing to try matt. I was talking to tristan about this last night. I noticed in tuner cat when I flashed your bin. It had speed density mode checked. I guess that option means to always run in speed density. If you can hook your thirdgen ALDL to the ground and serial data, I can tell you how to work tuner cat and try to disable that. Maybe then it will try the new MAF and it will work. Don't give up yet. Give this a shot. Let me know when to call ya.

I know for sure MTI won't even touch LT1's anymore, I asked them to do some tuning on mine last summer and they said no way. Neither would RSI.

hey matt, i read your post over on Z28.

about a year or so back i ran into a 4th gen LT1 that had a problem pretty close to what your having, it drove me nuts for a few days trying to find the problem. after doing every test & checking every signal more times than i can remember i was about to give up & send him to the dealer, but the owner of the car had a friend that had most of the electronic parts that were known to be good from one of his cars he was putting a motor in & brought them up for us to try. after swapping the MAF, ECM & the opti-spark it still wouldn't start most of the time & when it did it would die in a few seconds.
the last things were the module & ignition coil which he didn't bring. we ordered a new module & coil, put the module on & the problem was fixed. it got the new coil too as i believe when a module goes out there has be a reason.
it always had good fire every time i checked it & the signal to the coil looked good on the scope. this is the second or third time i have seen a module test good but be bad.

sense you work at a dealership, maybe you could borrow a module & coil & give them a try.

Well, I've talked with a guy up in New Braunfels. I'm gonna tow Kitt up there this weekend. Thans Denn Shah..I'll let him know.
He's supposed to be an LT1 LS1 guru, so hopefully he should be able to get Kitt road-worthy by March 26. I hope!!
