These tires are REALLY BIG
I ordered the next size up drag radials for the new 15" rims. I didn't think they would look this big. They fill up the wheel well about right. I guess the look big compared to the fronts too. Well, we will see how they perform at the track. Im going to Lonestar Raceway on Saturday with Barry and ?? anyone?
What do you think of the look? Not exactly going for the sleeper look

The rims are 15 x 8 prostar XP (with a 7/32 spacer so they dont rub on the calipers), and the tires, as I recal, are 245/60/r15

The bigger tires are like higher gears, so I went ahead and got the 3.73 gears installed to replace the 3.23 stock ones. Hopefully will get a chance to try out the new setup this saturday and the SFT at HMP, ASAP, LOL.

Well I guess Im keeping the tires. Made only two runs at HMP last night but both were all time bests. Last outing at HRP I averaged 8.67 in the 1/8 mile, and this time 8.48 average with a best of 8.45. Thats almost two tenths in the 1/8 mile, pretty significant. Besides the gears and tires I installed a Spohn adjustable torque arm so that may have helped as well. The should be getting me to the very low 13s in the 1/4 since last time was like 13.4 with those 8.6 1/8 times.
By the way, Im really bad with names but thanks for two really good races last night to George, I believe. NOt sure of your screen name. Too bad your clutch had problems or we could have had an exciting third race to decide the winner for the night.
