I think the Zapster won most if not all the track awards. My car is making significant improvements, though. My 60 ft. is killing me! But I'm working on it. Finally got over 80 MPH. 80.7. And, on that run, my torque arm mount came unglued! I want to run it in the 1\4. I think it might break into the high 12's. But I'm working on it!

Best reaction time--Steve (Sonar)--.520 on a .500 tree (although I never saw the time slip) can anybody verify that?
Best 60'-- ME (ZAP)--1.8314
Best ET--ME (ZAP)-- 8.5648 --I also had 2 runs that were 8.59?

Wow, good times dude. LETS RACE. How about going out to Sealy this weekend, get Barry to go too. Looks like its a race for first car into the 12s between us. In my opinion Sealy is much better than HMP. You have a huge area for pits, meetings etc, and the racing is much more organized. They specify certain lanes for T & T and other events. I almost ran over some people at HMP just trying to get from the waiting area to the burnout area. Watching at HMP is pretty cool because the stands are so close.
Anyway, let me know if you are up for it. To quote one of your previous messages "aint skeered".

Doubt if I'll be able to make it this weekend. Either going to the NHRA Nats at Baytown and watch the BIG BOYS run, or work--I'm snowed under at work and need to put in some OT.

Last Dec, when UTI rented the track, the tranny teacher extended an invitation to the Houston area Thirdgen.org club, which I passed along to everybody on the board, and nobody showed up, except Barry!
I'd be glad to get in on a Sealy thing, maybe even do it as a monthly meet, if somebody besides Larry, Barry and I show up!!!

I had a great time watching everybody race, I wish I could have had my car out there, but it was cool to take pictures of everybody racing. I would be up for going to the track again as long as I don't have to work.

I'm sorry I missed the SFT. I was out of town on business.

After seeing the winning times, I'm REALLY sorry I didn't make it. I don't know what I'm running, but I think I would have liked my chances.
Anyway, I chomping at the bit to find out what I AM running, so I'm going racing somplace Friday or Saturday. I don't really care where. So if someone else wants to go, I'm in. If no one else wants to go...I'm still going!
So who is up for Friday night?
BTW Zap, was anyone interested in anything on my list of parts?
