the idea looks good. I would rather make a custom back light set though rather than just putting a cover over the things.. as you can tell it is a caover and looks a little off. Just my opinion though....

ah ok.. just not a great picture i guess.. I was seeing the lines in the lights and figured it was jsut covered. as for the fiberglass panel.. i would probably want to refine it so it looked like it fit in better.

i think i would like the panel if it were painted black or something...just to make it contrast a lil bit ...but thats coming from a guy with a black bumper on a red Z

A few years ago, while sitting at a Jack in the Box on Hillcroft, I saw a thirdgen that looked like they had taken the complete rear body panel and grafted it onto the rear of the car.

IT REALLY LOOKED GOOD (IMO)

I was telling somebody about it at one of the meets and whoever it was I was talking to (Sonar maybe), said there is an aftermarket kit U can get that does that. Anybody know what I am thinking of?

The black looks a lot better. Maybe to much red, but definitley needs something to break up the color.

yea. the rear fiberglass body panel from a vette on grafted to the back of a camaro or wwhat not would look pretty interesting.. even more so if it was a convertable. The black also looke alot better IMO. Gives it a break in the color... also makes it look like it fits better.
