Hi Guys,

With all the hassle I'm having with the TBI at the moment looking at switching to TPI. My car is a 91 TBI. I have just seen a complete TPI setup with loom ecm etc for a 91. I know I'll have to swap the fuel pump, believe from reading past threads that the fuel lines are the same.

Can I just bolt this lot straight on without any problems. Will have just a weekend to do it in?

plan on a weekend t oiron out any probs you might have. it will bolt on but you have ecm, pump and other thing to cordinate as well. 91, so speed density, the easiest way to do it.

Hi,

The package I have seen is complete with uncut loom back to the ecm. Includes ECM as well, I know I'll have to drop the tank to change the pump. Planning on doing it on a friends driveway.

Will it just plug up to the loom under the dash? There are two plugs in the loom above the ECM. I've seen them on a V6 that I grabbed the ECM from and then I just cut the rest to the engine compartment and left 2ft of wire. I won't use this one but will keep it as a spare.

I LOVE the search feature on this board:

If U are getting the engine and stuff from Jay, didn't he say it included the wiring harness? His offer to help install it makes it a slam dunk!!!

If you are still looking for the swap parts, i've got a complete 350 TPI setup in my 89 IROC. Everything is complete and it still runs. I've got everything for sale on e-bay. Would be everything that you need for the swap, i may even include the fuel tank.

Just a thought, i'm in College Station, Tx

I've got it on e-bay, and the bid is currently at $250. I'm z28evans on ebay - or you can search for "tpi" and "iroc" to find it. I'd like to see what it will go for, mostly out of curiousity.

What part of Tx are you in?
