August Meet Pics
A hearty thanks to all who showed up to meet in the heat at FuddPuckers today!
We had a pretty good showing, though it looked dire at 4:00 pm and no one there but Barry and I. And I was in a truck! But some hardy folks made it out and we had a good time. Max even came by to show off his unbelievably clean ride.
We had 7 cars show, so extremirocZ would have won the count if he had showed (?). I was next at 8. Would have been right on if I had my shifter back.

In these troubled times with all of the politically-correct BS going on, this particular restaurant was NON-SMOKING. This time, it was no big deal. Wheel Spin and I just went outside, where it was only 100 degrees. Besides, who ever heard of a non-smoking car club meeting? Who picked this place?????????????

OK, let me rephrase that. Who NOMINATED that place?
Don't get me wrong. The location was great, and they do have good food (albeit a bit expensive for a burger). but NON-Smoking?
I think next time I'll make a phone call to the selected establishment.

Nice to meet you and GMan. For those not there, GMan showed ready for a road race with Kirkey seat, cage, slicks and carb'd 350. About to swap a 5.0 in to meet road race rules (WTF?)!
And Laura89iroc's car is in pieces, trying to decide between autocross or drag strip. I know I raised at least one eyebrow, but then realized the gal knows quite a bit. I'll listen to her! Let us know your progress Laura.
Oh yeah, got home to find B&M had sent me a brand new shifter. I'm rolling!
