I am off this friday and since Sealy is open i am heading out there (spectator only) . Anybody else planning to check the 1/4 mile track out?

 

What time are you gonna go? If I can get off of work soon enough, I might go.

 

What's the latest on your car? Will it ever be on the road?

 

Id like to go. I might head out there after work, like about 7:30 or 800 and make a few T&T runs. Im curious to see the track and how they are going to do 1/8 and 1/4 mile on the same track

I have a big slot car race this Saturday--will be preparing for that.

Besides, I need to do some maintence to the IROC mainly plugs. # 6 pumps a little oil and that plug is about to foul out, but it will be ready to kick Barry's butt at the Fall Brawl!

 

I just read on their website that the gates open at 5 and racing starts at 6. I will probably be heading out there with a friend from work. Zap, i have been waiting on an a.c bracket that fbody motorsports makes to put the stock ac compressor from a 3rdgen on an LS1 and as soon as that is on Owen should be able to finish it soon.

Did you go out there? How is it? BArry and I are thinking of going out probably Saturday afternoon, the open at 4. I noticed they are open Sunday this week as well.

 

there was a 3 1/2 hour rain delay while they dried the track. When they started racing at 9:30 it was only 1/8 mile because the high end was still not dry. Then at 11:30 some one had an accident in one of those smaller sized dragsters, so we left after finding out he was ok.

 

I missed the accident. Left at 10:30 after one pass. Had the wife and kids with me. Kids were getting too unruly so we left to get them in bed.
