I'm near Jonesboro, I was wondering if anyone in our area(s) has any leads on a good running 1986 - 1992 Camaro z28 "driver"? Or Trans Am?

Not really looking for anything I have to put immediate work in.

May be you can register to http://www.wtfba.org/forums/index.php (memphis). Sometimes, you can find good deals.
A Pontiac forum in Arkansas : http://www.arkansaspontiacs.org/apaforums2/
I have found mine in Tulsa OK.

Re: Arkansas 3rd gen

Any of you guys know of anyone with a Firebird looking for a 4th generation style Trans Am spoiler?

I bought one and modified it to fit my 85 Firebird and never got around to using it.

It would cost a fortune to ship, but I figure someone close by might want to buy it.

I'll take $75 for it, if someone wants to come pick it up.

Re: Arkansas 3rd gen

Gee, I was beginning to think I was the only one here... I moved out here from central California a couple of years ago and have talked to a couple of guys with 3rd gens in this area but they don't know about TGO. Any of you guys be interested in a small meet and greet some weekend? I'm about 40 miles south of Little Rock and but don't mind driving.

I have an '88 Iroc that's currently on stands getting new steering, suspension, bushings, tires, T56, gauges, and a few other odds and ends. Itching to take it out as the weather starts to turn nice....

Re: Arkansas 3rd gen

That's no problem for me... I just finished a new all aluminum radiator install too! I've been toting parts around for quite a long time without any place dry to work on my car. Now I'm finally able to get to some of it and I've got a pretty good back log! I'm hoping to be done within a month.

I need to locate an engine builder that can help me ensure I've got everything setup right. Then I'll be ready to drop my 350 w/ superram and vortec heads and start learning to tune. This year will be a good one for my car.

So, anyone else up for a small gtg in a month or two?

Re: Arkansas 3rd gen

If you guys are interested, we could plan a small gtg the first weekend in May and a central location. I don't mind driving. Might be fun to hit drag races in Centerville or something. Post up with some ideas if you're interested.
