Hello Peeps ( new guy )
Hello Peeps ( new guy )
Sup fellas/ladies..
I'm new to the Third Gen Camaro so I'll be around here a lot lol, I just picked up an 89 RS Camaro cost me $800 it's my first car since living in the US I'm from England been here a year. Anyways first things first what should I make sure i get done first on this beast full tune up? just a few tips would be great, I also noticed that the oil temp gauge is not working and also the RPM counter is always at max and its clearly not lol its getting power to it because it goes from 0-max and just stays there
thanks for reading I'm sticking around thanks for having me

Welcome tot he board!
First off, the factory gauge is known for being screwed up and the oil pressure might just need a sensor.
Besides a tune up, you need to check all the frin end suspension and replace any worn ball joints, idler arm and rod ends to make sure the suspension is in great shape.

also check out all your belts and hoses too. Makes sure you got no vacuum leaks. Plugs and plug wires would help out too and I always suggest wire looms for your plug wires.. makes any crap start to look better...

Well, you are in Plano, so unless you want to drive here to get the rear quarter you will have to figure a way to ship it if i cut it off for you.
