Thanks man, the last run was just botched due to losing tire pressure in the back left tire, i had to let off a bit after half track.

Re: The RS is sill alive after tonights beating
It is not bad, they swap can be done for 2500$ basically with the right priced engine, mine was 700$, stock long block and added 500$ in cam, pushrods and springs, then a valve job and gaskets.
Here is my budget break down post:

Re: The RS is sill alive after tonights beating
Yea, 11.2 or so, depends on how hard it charges on the big end(pretty damn hard), but i dont want to go all the way to Baytown and get kicked for no roll bar. Should be 6.8s after the head swap, so it will be a 10 second car all motor. Not bad for a daily driven junkyard engine.

Re: The RS is sill alive after tonights beating
If you want for temporary a 5.3 will work with that top end, i get the short blocks for 200$ usually and it would help you get going and build a even better engine to swap later, the 86 will be running soon with a cammed 5.3 and i think it should be 350 RWHP.

Well, a new clutch and the new heads on and it should really fly with some nitrous.
