I just made it home from Houston or else I would have posted these pictures earlier. I wish I could have brought those parts to donate for the raffle, I am sure someone could have used them, but with my fishing gear and a weeks worth of clothing, they just weren't going to fit.

Thanks for all you guys do to get these going, it was a great 1st meet!

Sorry you couldn't make it!
We are already planning on doing The "2013 Third gen Round up" earlier in the year next time! And we are going to possibly have a date set sooner so people can plan on attending in advance! We Kinda got a late start this year!

But I am sure everyone that made it, Had a lot of fun................

 

Thanks to all who make this meet happen every year. My wife and I have been every year since its introduction in 2010. It's the biggest 3rd gen meet within reasonable distance to us that I am aware of and we look foward to it every year. I am all for holding it in Dallas next year since as of now, thats the major city that has not yet had it close to home.

Houstonfbody contributed more than 1 car i think. I for one, am also a member of that board.

 

Your car was beautiful, wish I could have looked under the hood and at it a little more then I did.

 

we had 18 from houston, but I bet the next time it's there we'll have more. With more planning and promotion, I could see 30-50 being there

The plan was never to leave it in one place. we'll move it around the state to give everybody a chance to go. The places with the strongest local groups get priority of course, because "home cooking" will always draw an automatic crowd

about 6 t-shirts donated from Hawks,
three Hawks gift certificates,
a borla 50% off coupon, a borla embroidered hat
A Rock Auto Gift certificate
A set of FIC fuel injectors
and for the First time, a Third gen roundup garage banner(or for the bedroom if you have a really cool wife)

Definitely a nice turn out! I've been inspired to build a vert now! If mine doesn't sell first, I'll build a vert in a few years and have two thirdgens....

Well the parts I didn't get installed before the meet, I installed them today if anyone cares to see.

Strut Tower Brace from BMR and new caster/chamber plates from UMI.

This was installed prior to the meet, but most didn't know about the rear installation.

And the Wonderbar, I replaced the factory.

Hopefully next one, the Grey to Black interior swap will be finished.

Sad news, wrecked the RS today, frame is bent so i will go ahead with a new rolling body purchase, 5 speed car. Or with a blown motor and or trans. Glad she made it to one third gen round up, but many say i can fix it, problem is, to fix it the direction i was going, would require allot more than another complete body would. So, the 6.0 will go in the TA with some nitrous, as well as the 4.30 12 bolt. I will keep the 6 speed and do a 4.8 into the next camaro with a cam that will spin near 8000 RPM. Sounds fun. No one hurt, just a bit of feelings, but i paid 500$ for the roller before i transformed it and everything else is not damaged and will find a new home on the TA or the next camaro(maybe i will get lucky and molest a IROC).

 

Koni Yellows and I am waiting awhile to do the springs.

I will in time, i will be pretty selective about it, will be my nicest yet hopefully.

Wish I still had my garage. My wife woke up in the morning and was like, "What the hell is that doing on our living room wall?!" I just said it was here or in the bedroom because we are staying in an apartment for a few months before moving.

 

my banner is 14X2. still trying to figure out if I should try to hang it in the house, or just order a 1X7 for the garage.

I'm tempted to put it in the bedroom and see what my wife says... LOL

 

I forgot to ask about a banner witht he photos being taken...
