unfortunantly, alot of the times its just a dude driving A car to from point a to b. We don't all share the same passion for these cars....

I saw a really nice blue Z28 on the fairway about 2yrs ago while driving through San Antonio...

If you do go. theres a possability that you could meet up with lonestar7. Hes another member on here thats on the ropes about going because he does not want to drive out alone. & you will be passing through Austin.... Just a thought bro. Check out this thread.

Nah.....From ATGO. Met the SA guys a couple times when they came to ATGO meets & the Texas Roundup.

Back in 2006-07, San Antonio did have somewhat of a presence. I remember having about 15 or so cars on any given night. Here are some photos.

i have famy in satx. seen a bunch of 3rd gens while back. it was a club i think. met of a few of them at sar at a ford vs chevy race. feww quick ones.

Me too. Jim, you seem to have different pictures than I do. I don't have the GTA thirdgen logo one.

Also, there's a bunch of cars that go to Potranco and 151 and hang out at that Texaco there on Saturday nights. There are a couple third gens that go out there. I have taken both of my IROC's out there a few times.

Im in Sa and recently purchased a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. I work a bunch bud would be cool to hang out with other third gen owners in area every now and then.

Bought a 92 RS Z28 clone a couple months back and loving it, drove behind a guy in a red IROC on Bulverde the other day and figured there most be more than the two of us. Anyone in the NE part of town? Any meets for third gens in the area these days?

 

I still own my camaros. Been working on my cars, trying to get the steering and A/C working etc. Parts are getting harder to find, as well as people who know anything about how they work. I live over by the Castle Hills area now. I see third gens roaming around all the time.

 

I still have my Camaro's, im in Windcrest. There is a gathering of rides(not only 3rd gens)on Friday nites off Topperwein rd, behind Carls Jr.

I'm not in San Antonio but about 250 miles south in the RGV. I hope you guys don't mind if I hang around. Not much going on thirdgenwise this far south so I'm hoping to get involved in some of the events in SATX.

 

Welcome. Lots of long straight's on the way to RGV. Set the cruise on 90, unplug the detector, plug in the mp3, and crank it!

I was the only thirdgen at the Texas Camaro Revolution this past weekend in San Antonio. Was expecting to see a few 3rd gens, maybe next yr.

 

damn was gonna go to that but kids were sick all weekend that sucks no other third gens though

 

My 83 Z/28 is down until I find someone with body repair experience, got t-boned in January by an asshat driving an oilfield truck with no license. Took out my driver side C-pillar and rear quarter, but she's still mechanically sound and drivetrain is unhurt.

 

anyone have a rear hatch and glass for sale looking to replace mine

 

Cheap at Pick n Pull off Applewhite Rd. $45 last I looked for a hatch with glass. I need one for my '83 Z/28.
