Looking for a Notchback hatch
Anybody in town got one for sale? Trade? Or does anyone have experience with these hatches? What sort of cons are there to these hatches?

Re: Looking for a Notchback hatch
Factory notch are getting rare. The only pros I know of is the weight loss but thats argued because its from the wrong end of the car. I haven't seen any others around the dfw erea. I got mine from out of state. There not very well liked among the third gen community so it's a personal preference

Ok. Thanks. Yeah the more I see them the more I like them. Do the struts still fit on the notch hatch? Also. I forgot to mention I'm in Houston.

Re: Looking for a Notchback hatch
It seems to me that they would be a lot less aerodynamic. But anyway...
I've seen 3 or 4 driving around Houston over the years, but none recently.
Jegs used to sell an aftermarket reproduction of the notchback hatch. But they don't advertise it anymore. If you can find a 10 or 15 year old Jegs catalog you can probably look up the part number, call them, and ask who their supplier was.

Hawks has them but they're like 600-700 plus another hundred for shipping. And I don't like them enough to pay that much.
