I'm looking for a 305!

The title pretty much says it all, I'm looking for a 305, preferably a complete engine that has not been bored over, but I will settle for just a short block or bare block (would prefer not a bare block).

I can come pick it up, I have an engine hoist.

If you have one in a car I will come pull it but I wont pay you for it, you get the labor and your old crappy 305 that will NEVER make any power hauled away

Let me know what you guys have I need it soon!

I can pick it up wedneday or thursday after work, (assuming its already removed from the car). I get off at 5 so I can be in Misouri City at 6-6:15pm

If that doesnt work it will have to be tuesday or later next week, I am out of town this weekend.

$$$ wise, hmmm what is the history/condition of the engine? How much do you want for it?

Yeah it's out of the car. I posted a thread that it was for sale a few weeks ago. Um it's probably got less than 30k on it. I had the original engine replaced with this one in 09. And I daily drove my car for two years with it. I really don't know what it's worth. My dad paid 1500 for it but I'm not asking that much for it. Make me an offer. Pm me. I have it stored at the shop that swapped it out for a 350 for me so I have to go pick it up from there to give it to you if you want it.

Re: I'm looking for a 305!

I might consider selling the one in my 91 z28 vert
running car 305 TPI, actual mileage unknown,
I got it from a buddy that wrecked his 91 z28 vert, he said 85,000.....
intake to oil pan & all accessories
and trans too....

maybe the harness & commuter too.....

make an offer,
it might be getting a ls1 swap too.....

Re: I'm looking for a 305!

I'm really curious why you "need" smaller cubes within the same external dimensions? I can think of a couple reasons to ->want<- less cubes but they sure as Hell wouldn't involve a 305...

Re: I'm looking for a 305!

There is no need, I'm just playing around during the winter time I have some parts laying around and nothing to put them on!

I already have a 35O on the engine stand
