Guess what guys.. the Dyno Of My Car wrong.. Also now i have ABS light on

To all of you who saw the dyno chart on my 2001 T/A, remember how crazy it was? Not smooth or flat? I was concerned that there was something wrong with the car or maybe it wasn't broken in yet, but after looking more closely i'm sure it's the Dyno...

MY HP and TORQUE cross at like 4300RPMS... I bet if everyone else looks at there is will cross around 5250.. It is impossible for HP NOT to equal torque at 5250...

ALso, remember how the second run my car dynoed at 700HP? I think they were just having some problems..

Final thing.. Every since i left the dyno my ABS INOP light has been on.. wonder if they shorted something or accidentally disconnected something... i've never had that light before..

damn the luck
Shane

p.s.
nice meeting all you guys

they said abs inop is normal because of rear tires spinning and front not.. said it will clear up.. i've driven 300 miles since then and it is stll on.. maybe a pcm reset is necessary

I felt mine try to lock up when it just started raining, at a stop light. I wasnt worried about it since no one was around but I stayed a good distance behind other cars the rest of the way

interesting... I was thinking of resetting it to see if it would go away. I'll try it before I go out next. Thanks for the tip!

About that dyno, my hp/torque crosses at about 3250. Not sure if someting was up, but I honestly don't believe that my car even if 305 TPI is running 150 HP and 235 FT-LB torque. Hell, the first of the second 2 runs the ID10T running the dyno, somehow found I had 79.6 HP and 155.0 Ft-LBS torque WTF?! I already am planning on looking for a "second opionion"....another dyno elsewhere. If I beat ya too it, I'll let ya know, otherwise if you go elsewhere and dyno, let me know what you find!

Personally I think they broke it w/ that twin turbo Camaro!!! They probably just tried to compensate for it, and guess adjusted it. Hell nitrous only adding 15 HP to a car?! Something was wrong!

I don't know guys. My numbers were right on. They showed a 10hp increase from the last time I dynoed and the runs were consistent. Now for Corry's car, that thing is having some serious issues, and it wouldn't suprise me if it actually was running bad enough to get that low of figures. Now the thing about the nitrous only adding 15hp to jake's car was because not the same guy was spraying it into the throttle body and it's not like bolting an actual kit on the car. Plus, the bottle was empty the second time he tried to spray on jake's car, so it probably just didn't put much into the motor and that's why it only got 15.

Well here's the thing.. it is IMPOSSIBLE for HP and TORQUE not to cross at 5250.. bottom line...

I have never seen a dyno where they didn't...

Even the dyno sheet they gave me of the heads/cam ls1 was smooth and crossed at 5250.. I honestly think they had something mis calibrated... Some guys on Ls1.com dynoed the same day (about 3:30) and were complaining about the lines crossing at like 3500... Horsepower=(Torque * RPM)/5250.. if 5250 is RPM then HP MUST EQUAL TORQUE.

Hey guys i'm an idiot.. got to looking at my dyno chart again... the lines do not intersect at 5250 because the SCALES are different.. HP scale is from 100 to 300 and torque is from 210 to 320... if you look at the actual values, they are = at 5250.. duh

I was somewhat happy with my results. Eventhough my car hit the speed limiter at 4500rpms, it still got 251rwhp/296rwtq. Not too bad for a stock A4 car.

On the nitrous my car put out an extra 50rwhp so I dont think it was that messed up seeing that Jake's car is speed density and it doesn't pick up the nitrous as well as MAF.
