asking for some help in value department

Apologize for making this seemingly simple question, but I have been out from following the third gen prices for over 5 years and coming to a point where my 89 trans am might need to go. Trying to figure out very rough estimate of approximate range on the value of the thing.

Interior is decent, but center console lid is broken, rear seats have some rips in them, dash recently got a couple of cracks.
Body in decent shape, but paint is fading quickly and few small dents from daily driver days.
Set up for AC, but no compressor/condenser/dryer installed.
Mechanically sound
145k on the body and the motor. Odometer stopped counting couple of months ago, but at 50-60miles a month not much been added to it.
ls1/t56/4th gen posi swap car
new engine wiring harness
c5 wagon wheel, tires are old
long tube headers and short throw snifter are the only real modifications
has remote bleeder, and tick master/slave setup.
not emissions legal, antique registered.

Have original 305TPI/700r4 that were in perfect shape when removed. Within last year the transmission was used as a back up unit in a suburban for a month with no issues and the motor has been oiled every two years or so.

Delete the thread if deemed a waste of space

couple of pictures of the car
All the wiring seen in the passenger compartment is gone and replaced with new hidden setup. The dash pad just cracked this last cold snap, so not seen in the picture.

Re: asking for some help in value department

You have a nice ride there sir. Well your engine and tranny set up alone are still worth over $5000 and the shell of the car another $1500. So in all I would say somewhere in the range of $6500 to $7000.

Re: asking for some help in value department

thanks for some feedback.
if anybody else cares to join, a little more info on the car it self:
replacement kyb struts in the front, bilstein shocks in the rear
circle track supplier springs front and back(stiffer/lower ride, do not remember exact spring rate) - tracks well
subframe connectors
adjustable panhard bar
tubular rear LCA's
correct hand brake cables for 4th gen rear
4th gen aluminum driveshaft with new u-joints

it could use a steeper rear gears, currently should be 3.42's
I have couple other parts for the motor: high volume oil pump, double roller chain, ms3 cam, stiffer springs sitting on the shelf for it.

Re: asking for some help in value department

It is original ls1 intake, not the ls6

Re: asking for some help in value department

So it has the original LS1 fuel injection?
Just curious, why isn't it emission legal?

Re: asking for some help in value department

No cats, charcoal canister and generally emission equipment tuned out of the ecm. All can be placed back.

Re: asking for some help in value department

So, nothing insurmountable. Plus it is exempt from emission inspection because of it's age, even if not registered as an antique. So a regular inspection would not be hard to get.

Re: asking for some help in value department

Thanks for the feedback. I used to come out for some third gen meets in houston, but have not in over 5 years or so. Ended up picking up 87 formula for some parts that would make the 89 a bit nicer. Talked my self out of selling it at this time. I started finishing small repairs that built up over time getting ready to sell it, and then it made no sense selling it. (It is only logical to sell financially)

Re: asking for some help in value department

Well, in that case, we should plan a meet so you can show it off!
There is a little Cruise-in going on here in Conroe every Saturday night.
Are there any good Cruise-Ins going on in College Station?

Re: asking for some help in value department

there a regular meets around this area. Maybe one of these days I will drive the car out to a meet again. It needs paint and that would probably not happen any time soon.
