Hello all. Whos still around from the old days?

Just picked up a project 92 RS/5speed...needs a lot, doesnt run, but its a start. Lots of plans for it! Car has a few goodies ive found. Someone cared a lot for this car at one point, but not in a very long time. Anyone recognize it? Anyway..

A little diagnostic time and $25 in parts and shes alive! Runs pretty good, trans is good, stops well too.

I pop in every now and then.... One of these days I'll get to work on my 92 that I've had for the last 19 years!

 

It had a 6 in it right? Did you ever swap it?

 

Good memory! You're thinking of my 92 RS... Never got around to swapping the 6. I decided to swap the whole car for the Formula.

 

yep, thinking of the 92. What's the formy need? Time to get it on the road!

 

Someone backed into the driver side front.... I already picked up a front bumper cover, but still need to find a fender. I also need to find the mounts for the OEM 91-92 aero spoiler. The OEM one cracked (someone pushed down on it instead of waiting for the trunk pull down... :{), and the new one didn't have all the needed clips.

Then it all needs to go off to paint!

I've considered dropping it off somewhere and just paying someone to do a motor/tranny swap, and all the body work, but I keep using my extra cash to buy other cars and guitars!!! I also just found out a third child is on the way, so.... it'll probably be 2030 before the bird flies again. :/
