By the way Outlaw there are pics on my site in my profile if you want to see my car.

What drivetrain did you get? If you have a 5 speed I might be needing to ask you a few questions come August (I'm going to be converting my 700R4 to a T56.

Hey Adam, haven't seen you in Lubbock. As a matter of fact I haven't seen too many Formula 350's at all here. You have a nice looking car, like to see it sometime.

**** man I go to Texas Tech, I cant believe I havent seen your car. I'm a freshman living over in gordon. There is a marroon 91 bird and a really nice blue Iroc in our parkinglot, but I havent seen your car around.

I went racing with some of the guys from www.lubbockracingscene.com or something and they were pretty cool but they kinda keep to themselves.

Adam,
Awesome. I'm not on that side of campus much so I don't think I've seen any of those cars. I live off campus(29th and Slide) so I usually park at the rec.

No I don't use AOL. I like to race, but have never gone out to the track to get a time. I don't like to race on the street anymore because I got a ticket last year for racing. Plus, right now my car is running like crap(knock sensor I think). I'll replace the knock soon and at the beginning of May I'm going to be putting on new Heads, Cam, Intake, and Runners. I will have some times this summer(hopefully in the 12s or 13s).

If you want to contact me e-mail me at:
matt.butler@ttu.edu

Is the e-mail you have registered with thirdgen correct?

I don't know what I registered with My email is Ktulu_kagrath@hotmail.com

I like to race but my tranny is slipping pretty bad now and my rear end isnt happy with me This summer, around late july, I'll be converting to a T56.

What heads are you going with?

I had my tranny rebuilt last year and so far it's great. But anyways...

I'm going to go with the vortec setup with upgraded springs and screw in rocker studs. It's a little lighter on the pocket book and will give me all the performance I'm looking for(plus I don't have to pay shipping because Scoggin dickey is just right down the road!).

I'll either get the slp or AS&M siamesed runners.

And as of right now, I'm looking in to getting the XR270HR comp cam with .495/.502 lift. That may be a little too big, so I might go with .487/.495 lift.

And I'm about to dip my hand into prom burning. Hopefully I can learn how to do it before I put on the new setup.

Sounds pretty badass I have a friend back in Houston (Im from there) who is currently putting trickflow heads and a cam, I dont know the numbers, but its just pretty mild- and higher compression pistons and a 52 mm TB on his 90 Formula 350. should turn out really nice. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes so you know what to expect.

I was thinking about the vortechs but because the base costs so much I think I'll just wait and get a really good head, probably AFR 190's. Eventually, meaning in a few years I plan to forge up my internals and put an ATI blower on. Shooting for around 500-550 hp.

College makes everything hard to afford, so it probably wont happen until later down the road, either when I start interning or a little after I graduate. Its just bolt ons till then
