You could probably use my garage after I get my car all done, which should be before thanksgiving. I don't have many tools, but there's a pep boy's (and Graebz28's house) right down the road and you can always keep the reciepts and return stuff

Well hedman shorty headers are just fine, but the long tubes wouldn't work with my angle plug heads, and they have dismal 1 5/8inch tubes with very thin flanges, and they don't hug the block close enough, making installation hell. I know because I've installed hedman LT's on a friends firebird, we have to get them modified just to bolt on. The super comps bolted right in, no modifications. oh, and hedman Lt's will NOT fit with a T-5, super comps will.

The good side to hedman's are that they have a tad more ground clearance and cost 1/3 as much! Ya get what you pay for.

Well, that rules Hedman & SLP out.

i don't think you can take one persons experiance and rule out the hedmans. look on the exhaust forum, tons of people have used the hedman lt's and had no problems at all. with the hedmans, nothing has to be dented or relocated.

they may not be the best, but for the price difference, i think theyll be fine for me..

hey that would be waay cool man, but you realize it will probably take a few days? i have to pull it out, take it back to the shop, and wait for him to fix it, then put it back in. where do you stay at anyways?

Well I didn't have to dent or relocate anything for my Super Comps either. I think the header choice really comes down to what you kind of motor you are building, will shorties be OK or do you need long tubes...........are 1 5/8inch OK or does a very extreme motor setup neccisitate 1/3/4inch tubes?? Get my meaning? So no hedmans are not totally crap! Just so everyone knows...........I AM running hedman shorties on my girlfriends car and they work just fine. Far better IMHO than the shorty edlebrocks or dynamax's which have much smaller 2/1/4inch and 2/1/2inch collectors compared to the shorty hedman's 3inch collectors.
