Anyone going to Tucson this weekend?

If I get my car fixed, I'll drive down on Sat. morning.
Is anyone else planning on going?

At least part of the reason azcamaro is coming to Tucson is to buy a couple parts from me, if some of you Phoenix people want to pick up the parts you're interested in, maybe you can work something out.

well I didn't get my car fixed I have no idea what is wrong, so I'm taking it to my mechanic.
Should be fixed today. I'll drive down to Tucson tonight or tomorrow morning early.

over heating > can't use my air
rad is good > no leaks > water is circulating through the system > don't see any leaking anywhere (except when I turn it off & the over flow tank over flows)??????????

I'm getting ready to put in a new t-stat on now. New rad cap 3mo's ago. I'm going to chk it, make sure the seals aren't bad.
I got some pipe insulation @ hm depot. I read here somewhere, that there should be a gasket (don't remember if that's the term) btween the condenser & radiator.
It did't over heat driving to or from where the mechanic lives (about 15 mls). Drove freeway there & drove thru town back.
more later..........
cars 6cyl (173 eng) pretty much stock > just MSD ign\plug wires & blaster coil. Oh & K & N air fltr

whatd the mechanic say... i ahve a v6 car,it overheated cause teh fans werent kicking on once, and it got hot for a while, like yours does cause the t-stat was sticking. the only gasket their should be, taht ull replaced will be between the tstat housing and block, but u can just use black silicone for it.good luck.

mechanic wasn't home I replaced the t-stat last nite. Going to get TPS now & then to friends house. Her room mate said he'd help us swap out old > new TPS.
When done, still plan on cruisin' to Tucson.
Sebastian give me a call in a couple of hrs.

Ugh!!!!!!!!!
Got the TPS back in my car. My brother notices the grommet that’s on the end of the Mixture Control Solenoid is messed up. Calling around it’s not something that is an in stock item. They tried to sell me the whole MCS for $104.
Sorry Synapsis, there is no way I can come down now. PMing you.
Finally heard from my mechanic, he’s real busy….air cond repairs.
1˝ hrs later………..on the road again! Runnin’ good & the best part, I can run my air!!!!!!!!!!
Replaced t-stat & TPS + had to treasure hunt for the stinkin’ ( yeah I’ll say it now, STINKIN’ NO GOOD Grommet!!!!!!!!!!) The grommet turned out to be the worst part.
