Firebird!

Well went to Firebird Friday and put down two back to back 14.91 passes at 93 mph. Track prep was so-so, tires didn't have enough air in them and could have run more timing, but I'm getting excited, my first 14 second pass! I hit the 90 shot on the last few runs and ripped off a 14.3 at 101 mph! Not too shabby for 305 TBI with swirl ports

Congrats on the new ET.

How come you didn't jet up to get in the 13s?

PS. I am the guy that talked to you at the central cruise with the white TA.

I used to carry my jets and tools in the console. Never know when you need that extra hit. (Like when mrt89rs calls you up and says, "Dude we need to race again, I changed the spark plug wires.")

Haha yeah I often get scared of doing that in my camaro too That bike is sweet man, I'm so jealous.

The thing that made me most happy about racing was that there was an L98 car there too that I was running quicker than

cool dude, what was you short time? 101 mph should be able to get you in the solid 13s with a good 1.9/8 sixty.

My nitrous runs were at the end of the night when the track was all chewed up. I think the best I mustered for the nitrous runs were high 2.2's and low 2.3's Earlier in the night I was doing 2.1's quite easily with 3200 rpm dumps.

If thats the case then you could easily hit 13.7 or so on a 90shot...Just launch that bitch

Oh the bitch was being launched! I just needed a little more air in the tires (at 19 psi all night, a little too low I think) and I didn't heat them up too well on my burnout. But I'll give er' a shot next time
