electrical shop in chandler area

Hello everyone could anyone direct me to a good shop where i can get my stock alternator rebuilt and maybe even rebuild it to where it puts out about 140amps.
I bought a powermaster alternator (model 47294) the guy from the powermaster website said it would be a direct bolt on but it is too small, one screw is about an inch away from the bracket.

My car is 1982 with a 305engine. I'm sort of new to working on cars.

Thanks everyone

Hope my question was clear

Chris

Did they rebuild your alternator to where it puts out more amps?

Thanks

no, i just got a new alt. i dont trust used or rebuilt ones. just get a 145 amp 1 from a vette or look for a 200 amp 1 in summit.

That's the thing I already have one but the case is smaller than the stock alternator so it won't reach the brackets properlly and I wonder if there is a different bracket I could use. I see many brackets at both jegs and summit but I'm not sure which one to use.

The alternator I bought is a powermaster 47294.

Thanks

Chris
