shrinking belt?

shrinking belt?

any chance that my serpentine has just shrunk i replaced timing chain, and waterpump got everything together and now i can get the serpentine on with the tensioner all the way over its still like 1/2 inch from making it

Make sure the belt is fully seated in all of the pulleys and routed properly.

anyone got a diagram for 305tbi, its the same as tpi right? im missin the sticker and pretty sure i have it goin right..

i found a diagram im trying the correct way it just isnt quite long enoguh i dont know why, which pulley should i be trying to get this on, im trying the alternator cause its the smallest but when i pull the belt it brings it to about center bolt and thats it, the belt is in all the grooves just not going on...
