New guy in AZ

Not really new to AZ, but just to this site. My name is Tice and live in Sierra Vista. Just picked up an 85 Z-28. This is my second 3rd gen. I had an 84 with a mildly built 350 with a th350 trans. I sold it about 10 years ago and have been kicking myself evry since. This one is not in too bad of shape, just the typical 24 year stuff. Run pretty good, needs a paint job real bad. Any how, just thought I'd say hi before I started looking for the few parts I need.

I need a cluster (Duck has one in kingman). I also need some interior trim stuff, head liner (t-tops) a-pillar trim, and some stock wheels. Currently the ride has early 80's Vette wheels, I really don't care for them. Would rather have some stock Z-28 wheels or Iroc wheels!!!

If you're interested in stock 91-92 16-inch Z28 wheels, I have a set available.

Also keep in mind that I posted an 89 Borg Warner 9-bolt rear setup for disk brakes at almost giveaway prices, but nobody seems interested. As I move closer to packing my stuff and renting my house, I'll need to have this nice rear out of here, perhaps for free. I know someone could use a spare 3rdGen rear in good condition. Interested?

I saw that you had that for sale. Tempting, but I think I'm gonna build a 12 bolt. Got a few issue with the car I need to fix before I start modifing it. That and figure out a reason to tell my wife about "fixing" it!!!

Re: New guy in AZ

FYI, the 95 rs wheels will rub in the front if you dont use a 1/2" adaptor. In the rear, as long as you dont use a tire wider than 235/50/16, you wont need an adaptor.

OOPS, I ment 92.!! Though with the Vette wheels right now, both front and rear have spacers!

Re: New guy in AZ

It's basically the same offset for camaro and vette wheels. You could reuse the adaptors for 4thgen wheels...
