WTB Your Junk LS1 or LS6 block

I purchased a very nice LS6 bare block from a serviceman in Ft. Hood, Texas. He got deployed days after the sale. Unfortunetly, UPS dropped the block and broke off a nice chunk from the transmission mounting flange. I have no recourse with UPS because I'm not the sender. I would like to buy your gernaded LS1 or LS6 block to repair my baby. Let me know what you have.

That sucks!! The buyer and seller should have the same rights of quality assurance and retribution. I got screwed by UPS for that same kind of thing. Sucks that LS motors use aluminum. Bet that wouldn't have happened with an iron block.

Re: WTB Your Junk LS1 or LS6 block

UPS even admitted to dropping the block in a report they sent me. They said that the packaging was inadequate to protect the unit. And to top it off, they couldn't find the broken off piece. If they did, I wouldn't be as disappointed in their service.

Thanks for looking guys. Should be someone in AZ that sprayed their LS1/LS6 a little too much

That's just dumb altogether right there. Sorry to hear that, and hopefully good luck will strike your way due to ill circumstances. I seriously find that ridiculous. Not exactly a cheap loss by any means.

Re: WTB Your Junk LS1 or LS6 block

While tracking the package, here is what I found. This was my first indicator that the package was going to arrive in less than stellar condition. The sender was never notified as the tracking note suggests. I was the one to tell him that it was looking like the package was damaged. Of course, neither one of us had any input in the investigation.

Thats not right! They should have to replace the block based on the knowledge that they admittedly damaged the package. Fricken UPS! No accountability!

Keep calling the supervisors of supervisors at UPS, then if all else fails, call your investigative local news team. Corny, but Im sure they would love to question a big company such as UPS.

Re: WTB Your Junk LS1 or LS6 block

Not a bad suggestion but a news team isn't going to move on a complaint without talking to the sender. He's deployed in Afghanistan with bigger issues.

Found a guy in Oregon who's got a junk LS1. I'm making the PayPal purchase right now. Thanks everyone for looking!!!
