You don't miss a thing do you. The picture was taken before the mounting holes were drilled.

i was just wondering if it was going to be welded in because that would make any work to the engine a pain in the A$$. looks great though and at 14 lbs i will probably really tighten up the front of the car. i wish i had a shop and the fabrication skills to do something like that. also, my grandfather gave me a welder if anyone wants to teach me to use it.

Does it really need to be 4130? How about some aluminum instead? Not that 14lbs is all that heavy, but...

It looks like a spider!

I bet it holds like a black widow death grip.

So does the car handle like a F1 or Nascar.

No...But I have the ability to make them at very little extra cost over mild steel.

My cars have 4130 Chrome-Moly
S.T.B.
A-arms
K-Member
Subframe connectors
Torque arm
And a custom made 4130 Dana in the fab shop now.

I can make same S.T.B. in aluminum will be 12% lighter (1 3/4 lbs )
and will have less stiffness and more crack prone but the coolness factor will be much higher.

Now you have me wanting an aluminum one...maybe I will make one next week.
