Another case of someone with more money than brains. If he is building a "trailer queen" show car, maybe it will impress someone I doubt if it will start and run. I don't think you can get enough exhaust out of one cylinder of an ls1 to spin a turbo, and those he is using are way too big for the application. In terms of boost, if he can get it to start and keep running, the boost will be zero.

It also says that he thinks it runs around 800 HP. Now tell me, is the money needed for 8 turbos worth only 800 hp?

 

If you think you can get all that in an F-body, Go for it! Personaly, don't think so! Can you spell OVERKILL? What is that in now? It looks like a 55 chevy.

 

id bet money that i could get a single or twin turbo setup that spools up just as fast (or faster) and makes more power...

all for less money.

 

if you read the article, the guy just built to be different, not make a bunch of horsepower. He is building it to be a car show winner and drive it on the Power Tour. The car is a 57 chevy convertible.
