1st off, waste of money hotrodding a truck into a 2 seat sportscar.
2nd, With only 300 miles on a custom worked suspesion, How is the truck even dialed in balance wise for $150,000. What a joke.

Why would anyone in their right mind actually WANT gauges that look like that?

I would have a hard time justifying the 150K price tag on a vehicle that didnt have the names Lamborghini or Ferrari on it.
I dont know who that clown Michael Anthony is...but if it came with Jessica Alba's lips, i'd be interested

Im not a fan of Nascar at all, i like open wheel road racing. F1 is the shiznit. There are a lot of parallels between how they design F1 cars and how planes are designed. The driving is so technical and the cars are the most advanced machines on 4 wheels.
However with the lack of American drivers, American courses, and American manufacturers, its easy to see why its not as popular here as neckcar.

I'll look like a hypocrate somewhat by posting this, but here's my "WORKTRUCK". I emphasis worktruck for the fact that I use it daily for work but am not a truck fan-so I made it handle as close to a car as possible yet having the ability to take a 5000lb payload capacity. No the tires can't take 5000lbs, but the chassis, drivetrain, suspension, cooling system and brakes can and does daily(Aprox 3000lbs average max load) So it's still a truck even in its lowered stance.
That $150,000 abortion is useless for anything other than a "sportscar" and I guarantee my old chev can give it a run for its money on an autoX course. The roller motor is getting tired with 400,000+ miles on the stock bottom end but it still is running like a champ. I used to beat the old 80's 5.0L Mustangs in this truck when the motor was more fresh. This truck can out transition most average 2-doors on the road no problem (not talking exotics) but won't hold a candle to my wifes Camaro- nor would I expect a truck to do so. If I did not need a truck for payload use, I would never own a crappy truck- they are not sportscars.
Note: There is not ONE stock OEM(again, not one, not even the cab mounts) part left underneath this truck except for the gas tank and shortblock- It is far from stock and the frame hasd even been stregthened and modified It even has a Currie 9" with a detroit locker and 4 wheel disc.....and much much much more. Is it still and abortion also?-heck yes. But at least it is used as a true truck carrying payloads.

Dean, you're killing me! "I hate trucks, that's why I've modded the heck out of mine."It would be interesting too see what it would be like if you were a truck fan. Something tells me it would be set up for the Super Truck class of the Pike's Peak Hill Climb.

Brett, I do hate trucks. But I have to drive one daily. I have owned my own Tile sales and installation business for over 18years now and haul heavy loads in this thing daily. If I could drive a sports car I would, so in years of things breaking and me finding the most heavy duty part availiable to replace the factory stuff with, this truck has gotton to this point and I would not trade it straight across for a new stock one because it is much more heavy duty and custom built to handle the job I do and the way I drive it and beat the livin crap out of it.
I will not buy a new one. I'd have to start all over again to get it reliable for what I do. I would thrash a new truck in 1 year. Matter of fact I went through 6 stock 700r4's in this truck under warranty when I first bought it new in '89. When I had to finally buy one myself I went to Jimmy at Darrell Youngs and had one built custom for what I do. This trans needs to be overhauled about every 5 years regardless becuase of the weight I carry. Two weeks ago I just had Jon @ Accurate install the 15th set of tires on this truck in 16 years, and I buy the best 275/60-15's I can find.
In Conclusion, I built it out of necessity. You guys have seen my cuiser (77 ElCamino) that is stock. I used to use this when I first started the line of work because its a truck most like a car, but I learned real quick it couldn't handle the job and I had to break down and buy a truck.

My only comment is that someone who makes enough money to pay $150,000.00 for a "one of a kind" truck is fairly successful in whatever they do. In a lot of States that would buy a house.
And that truck is 50 State legal. No one else can "legally" copy it.
Personally, if I had $150K to spend on a car it would be a new GT40, but those are actually sellling for over $200K inc dealer market adjustment. Although I might have paid $60K to $70K for that truck.
Guess I will have to bug Brad and see if they have performance stats on it.
