Project Papa Roach (Pics)
Remember that roller 91z28 that Randy (8T8IROC) bought? Well it moved on to me as just a roller, and im making some progress, got part of it painted. The rear quarters, spoiler, and the roof. Its black with violet pearl mixed into the clear. It dosent look too awful bad, i was originally going for a black with a purple tint in the right light, well accidentaly put too much pearl in and have a DARK purple/black in the right light, dosent look too bad but we'll see what happends in the sun. I spent some time color sanding/buffing the worst part of the car (well the most orange peel we had) and it came out flawless, so im happy. All ive done is the sail panel, as it was just painted monday. The future mods are as follows
HSR
SLP Loudmouth
Full poly bushings/mounts
355 from the white car
trans from the white car
possibly 3.73's
full roller valve train/1.6's
Possibly LS1 brake conversion
ZR1 wheels
150 shot of nitrous
And im sure there will be more but for now my main goal is to have a good looking driver, that dosent run too badly, The drivetrain has already pushed a car into the 13.20's so with all of that im hoping for like a 12.80 or so. And of course some tuning. Heres a few pictures of whats done so far, Ill try to find one or two of the car when i got it, but i doubt i can find some.
In the sail panel that i did, i cant find any orange peel at all, so all in all im happy, Let me know what you guys think
