Re: Took the car to the track

Excellent times. With the power you are making getting it to the ground will require some effort. There goes Vincent and Allen.

105mph is just slightly less than I do in the 1/4 mile. Need the particulars on the motor. Hope to see it at the Christmas dinner. Allen

Re: Took the car to the track

hold on, are you sure 105 mph that's 10.80 speed in the 1/8 can you post a picture of the time slip.

Jerry

I have some 28x10 Hoosier slicks mounted that will fit your car if you want to try them let me know next time you go to Irwindale and i will bring them out.

Re: Took the car to the track

Thats frikin moving- and making up a whole lotta ground at the big end.

If this is true, you are looking at a low 10 second car.

We were just up there a few weeks back running a Vintage drag Ghia in the Bug-in that does that capable of a 7.30 once we get the linelock and the 2stage box in it. It just clicked a 7.45 @ 88 lifting in third to about 2/3rds pedal not to break out of the 7.42 dial. This car bites hard too. You have got to be spinning bigtime off the line to make that time with that MPH.

The best weve done in this thing is a 7.34 @ 93 and that was a bad bogg of the line with way too much traction and in 3 runs after 20 years of sitting.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dD3mnsoTGw

Hey Jeff, good to hear from you again. Come on by the So Cal board sometime and say hello. Have you hooked up with any of the third gen guys in the Cascade Crew? How do you like Bend? If I remember correctly, your in the Southeastern dry part of the state aren't you?
