Any one know of any good Upholstery place where I can take my TA, I live near West Covina.

 

I know a guy who does awsome work but he is a hour from you. he did both my trans am's

 

Where is he located? i wouldnt mind having my car done tooo.

 

Here a couple pictures of this guys work on my 82 trans am .. everything is leather.

 

maybe we can work out a group deal i also need interior. I don't want leather i just want the i think its cloth that it currently has. Any idea how much he'd charge for all seats on my 85 z28 ??

 

I should have added this interior job is also somewhere around 10 years old. But until 2 years ago the car was never driven. so you can see his work does stand up just fine.

He is more into show car custom work so doubt he will do a bunch of them at any given time.

The guys name is JIM. this job costed me 1600 but it was leather and he redid every possible thing in the car.

headliner
carpet
carpeted rear trunk plastic and flipup cargo cover
factory toe/heel pads in new carpet
sound deading material throughout
all seats done
door panels in leather as well

My 84 T/A was done in cloth at 1100 .... not sure how much it costs these days but you will get exceelent work with this guy. Just tell him Jeff with the black trans am sent ya.

Also in case you were wondering how he matched them so good. He had to cut the original clothe seat covers apart to duplicat all the patterns these are not repro seat upholstery everything was hand made by him.

I had my headliner replaced by Advanced auto concepts (Jim) about about 8 years ago. He did the headliner, visors and sailpanels and did a great job and everything still looks almost new. I second Jproz1167 on the recommendation.

 

just wanna say i saw Jproz1167's T/A in person and its really nice upholstry work... really done well...
