Since we agreed to buy one first we would like the best of the two.
Ok, they are both in great shape, I just need the fuel level sender off of one of them, I left a pm for Xophertony letting him know I need that part off of the fuel pump, he hasn't responded yet, but you will get the complete one for sure...

Cool, see you on sat.
no problem. i responded to your PM as well.
so... anyone want to have a tank swapping get together? where i am staying down here i have no driveway, and my uncle has his project in the garage already. i have all the tools i need. i even have exhaust that unbolts behind the cat, which makes fuel tank swaps much more easy. i just need a place to do it. i realy don't want to drive back to Portland with a fuel tank in the car.

*EDIT. there is also no better time to change rear end fluid then when the rear is out of the car.

Gas Tanks Sale Pending
got my new tank home safe. thanks john.
and as an unadvertised bonus, i received about a gallon of free gas. the only thing i like better then the smell of gas in the car on the long drive home is the taste as i siphoned it out.

i am quite satisfied with the purchase. also, johny, do you have a thread in the LSx swap forum? i want to keep up on your progress.
does anyone know a shop (or anyone have a welder and like beer?) that will weld on gas tanks? the sealant GM uh... whats the word.. "threw in the general direction of" the fuel neck joint is starting to chip away, and i would like to have someone weld up the joint before i put it in the car, hit a bump and create a leak.
