The weather was great this year, sunny and in the 70's. It was a good turnout for the cruise with alot of people showing up who weren't on the roster.

The BBQ guy flaked and said "Uh... I thought you said it was Monday?!?!?"
So no BBQ. Mark said he'd refund everyone $13, so that makes the t-shirt only $7.
At CA speedway the band didn't show and neither did the back up DJ. Same goes for the bikini contest.

He had problems with the BBQ guy last year too. The guy was supposed to be there around noon but didn't show. They called him and he gave some excuses I think about being lost. He finally showed up 2 or 3 hrs late and then it took him an hour to cook everything. I remember I was starving by the time we ate, but it was good when it was ready.

ya the model agency, corrected the invoce for the only model that showed.
The DJ was the same as last year and completel flaked, will find a pro for next year. I did not hire a band this year for 2 reasons. 1. with all the sign ups running late and 3 sponsors cancelled it was risky that we would break even.
2. I was afraid with the new layout that it may have been pointless as they may have been drown out by the cars on the track.
I will get one again for next year. With the economy I could not be sure we would even get the late signups. sorry guys.
Will make it bigger and better next year.
