Looking for T5 goodies...
After 10 years and 190,000 miles of open track, auto x, canyon running, time attack, drag racing, drifting, and lawless blasts to Vegas the bowtie overdrive 700R4 has decided that I no longer need the 3 and 4 clutches. So I'm debating on putting a T5 behind my 160HP beast of an LO3. Does anyone have any old T5 stuff laying around that they want to get rid of? As always comments and or suggestions are welcome. Thanks guys

Why not find an lt1 t-56? You get the double overdrive so you could put some bigger gears in the rear.

Re: Looking for T5 goodies...
I contacted Bowtie Overdrives yesterday just to see what kind of deal they would give me on a rebuild of my level 3 unit based on what I do to/with my car. Long story short, they will bring my unit up to current level 3 spec with all of the trick stuff that has been discovered/invented since they built it 10 yrs ago, r&r it, fluids, gaskets, and speedo gears (originally set up for 3.73 now have 3.42) for less then retail on a decent clutch set, junk yard T5, and the fluid to go in it.
It's just way to good a deal to pass up! Not to mention my doing things to it that I wouldn't do to a farm animal and it lasting 10 years. With my luck, I'd shred that glass jaw of a T5 into confetti my first time around the block anyway lol. I tend to be a little rough on components
