6:00PM 7:30PM Drivers Grip / Session One

Pit Pass / Ride Along $10.00
There will be a significant amount of 3rd gen suspension knowledge and driving support available to you. So whether its your first time on a track or 50th come out and take advantage of this unique opportunity to see how your 3rd gen does on the track. This is designed to get you behind the wheel in a safe/controlled environment and have some fun. If youre the type of guy/girl that goes for the throttle instead of the brakes on freeway on ramps then this event is for you!
Each session is $20 which will net you 6 to 8 timed runs. So if you were to take advantage of all three sessions you would be looking at $60 for the evening. This is extremely affordable considering what you will take away from the experience. For additional information please visit the Adams Motorsports Park website.

49 seconds on 245 street tires, badass! Congrats! Aren't you on a street alignment too? Seems like you still have room to improve even on that time with just some minor tweaks.Originally Posted by Frank 84 Bird

btw mike that is a great shot of your car. Nice stance. I wish I could get mine lower without having to change everything.
You gonna be rolling on some different tires on the 12th?

Thanks, I don't know who took it but I snagged it off of Fingerz' website Originally Posted by Pablo

I should be on 15" slicks so I'm looking forward to finally putting down some decent numbers

I’m helping Dean set up a drivers/suspension clinic the weekend before the 12th to help people get familiar with the basic fundamentals of track driving and Time Attack.

Great times Frank.
I think Danny Ongais said when he was motorcycle racing, "You don't know how fast you can go until you crash, then you know your limit".
So just one spinout means you were only trying on the last laps LOL

the alignment was never done on this car.. i had the whole front suspension & steering out of the car at one point.. It makes for an interesting ride on street tires thats for sure.. Originally Posted by Pablo

You have to get that sucker aligned!
They are the camaro SS wheels, they look like zr1 wheels. They need 2" spacers.
One week out gentleman

I'm planning on coming...as a spectator. Once the money starts coming in again then I can finish one of the cars and get on the track finally! Hopefully there will be another drivers/suspension clinic later on in the year :-)
Track set up is complete! Tuesday can't get here soon enough

Great night everyone. There was some nice driving out there. It was great to see a bunch of thirdgenners who were not afraid to tear up the track.
I was kind of disappointed that I didn't run faster than my last time. I think my driving was sucking more than anything. Having the fastest time of the night was a nice consolation though.
We'll have to do this again soon!

Top night indeed gentleman, and congrats to Pablo on fastest car of the night!
Loud mouth s@#t talking ***** in a fully built supercharged 500rwhp Mustang - 50.38
89 RS bone stock LO3 160hp (385,000 miles) bald all season Kumho's - 50.99
Difference - 0.61 which equates to a little less than a fender. I'm telling you guys, this is about as much fun as you can legally have with your pants on

It gets a little too scrunched for an avatar. I have been meaning to change it.
BTW James what is the story on your thirdgen? Do you no longer have it? It would be great to see that out there.

The one with 3 of us in a row on the parade lap is neat.

My Thirdgen met its demise when the engine broke a rod. I had a replacement 305 TPI ready to drop in until I could repair my superam'd/AFR195cc combo but the 305 had a cracked head and consumed coolant and smog was due. I didn't have the time or money to get everything taken care of and since I just started a new fulltime position I didn't have the flexibility to take days off to work on my car. So I parted it all out and basicaally the suspension Mike has hanging from his RS - stuts/shocks, springs, strut mounts, PBR brakes, rear end, rear disks, spherical panhard and LCAs, etc - came from my car.Originally Posted by Pablo

That's a drag. Well thirds are cheaper than dirt so it's not hard to get back into one. Originally Posted by james_85Z28

And you can always bring the Porsche out to play
