Hers isn't a z28 anymore. It was bought as a donor car, its LT1/auto went into my camaro and all my 3.8 stuff went into the z28 and then I gave the car to her. Bought the z28 for a grand off some guy down near san juan capistrano.

Bring a helmet make sure your battery holdown, radiator overflow etc is up to snuff. ...car isnt leaking bad etc. No shorts or sandals

Soon as my trans is back in Im going to head down there to get a feel for launching this pig.

Re: Racing at irwindale?

Unless you're faster than a 8.5 in the 1/8 mile you won't need a helmet.
The first passes they won't check anyway.

Re: Racing at irwindale?

Good Im not cutting up a new harness to run an 1/8
Gonna take a chance on the wheel studs too. half tempted to get a street tire to be safe but it'd never hook.

Its time for me. With my backwards sched I get about 5 hrs a week to do everything its just not enough.
