Ten Years on Third Gen.org
It's been ten years that I have been on. Without this site, I would have been totally lost in keeping my car still going after almost it being 30 years. Thanks everyone for all the advice and such.

Re: Ten Years on Third Gen.org
Oh my gosh, I'm going on 17 years here....
Owned my first thirdgen in 1998, a white 92 RS, then bought the Candy Cane in late 1998. It says I joined this forum in July 1999. I'm pretty sure I was here before then but we had to re-register for this new board software.
I feel old.

I can remember going on Third Gen F-Body Org. back in the mid-nineties. I looked around on here for years before actually joining.

Seriously though.... so much good information on here it is amazing. A much better community than some of the other auto forums I have been on.

Re: Ten Years on Third Gen.org
Congrats, great place for sure with some fantastic people! They should do 15 year member banners, will be time for 20 year banners soon, too, WOW!
I was here in 1998 (username was AMC, my initials) but didn't re-register for the new forum software until middle of 2000 a month or so before I bought my 2nd thirdgen (my 92 GTA). Got my first in high school in 1997, a 1982 Firebird S/E!
Here is a picture, taken in Bakersfield CA where I lived, in 2002 (I was 22). I'm on the left, and AmorgetRS is on the right. That's the day he picked up the 91 GTA in the middle from me. I had bought the '84 Anniv. Trans Am in late Aug 2002 with the money from selling the '91 GTA. I then got my '91 Firehawk just a couple months later. Good times back in the day!

I sometimes wonder how many have been around as long as I have,....
