September Event
Previously in September we've cruised up to Don's cabin in Big Bear and had a picnic on the lake. But there hasn't been much interest in it, the last few years.
This year at July's picnic, it was mentioned that we should try to have a Big Bear cruise again, or have another picnic at the same park in Brea or at another park in SoCal.
The available dates would be Sat Sept 23 or Sat Oct 7th.
What do you think? Big Bear or local picnic?

Re: September Event
Hard to say if those dates are free yet but otherwise I'm down for whatever.
What about having more local mini-cruises to some of the diners around here? The S3 canyon highway connecting Orange/Lake Forest is pretty good for cruising. We could take that down to Fuddruckers in Lake Forest. They also have a classic car meet on Tuesdays.

Re: September Event
A get together would be fun. I've not been one here since I moved down from the Seattle area. Big Bear would be great.
Also I second having local mini cruises or maybe meeting for food once in a while.
Since I live in Riverside something in the Inland Empire area is always great.
Not sure how many third gen members are out here.
I have only meet one younger guy who had a white GTA but have not seen him for a while.

Everyone seems to be down in OC... Anyone up more North in Ventura? Hard for me to get down there, especially during the week.

The Northern California guys are planning another dyno day up there, and they want me to come up and tune their cars again, so October 7th is out for me. If we want to do something on September 23rd, post up now.

So, quick question about SC3G Facebook page... Is it still active? I sent a request a while ago and it's still pending. Looking for more places to cruise to and more local resources and sales and what not.

Re: September Event
How about the park in Brea. Sept 23
I have not been there so not sure where everyone has met in the past.
Hopefully this very hot heat will be gone and back to normal Sept weather.

Re: September Event
The park was nice.
Everyone brought food and there was a lot left over.
I didn't even get to meet half the people, because I hadn't been to an event in over a year, and I spent the time catching up with the people I already knew!
I have to work half a day on the 23rd because it's one of my coworker's birthdays.
Not sure which half yet.

Re: September Event
If anyone else wants to do the picnic in the park again on the 23rd, post up this week so we can get it going.
I also have available the 14th, 21st, or 28th of October if the 23rd is no good. I'd also like to plan the Fuddrucker's cruise for one of those dates.

Re: September Event
I don't see enough people interested in the 23rd to make it happen.
Lets shoot for October and we'll do the cruise to Fuddruckers in Lake Forest.
14th, 21st, or 28th?

Re: September Event
I'm now in OC permanently and 3 miles from Fuddruckers in Lake Forest. Short enough of a cruise for me that I can drive the IROC. So far any of those date in October will work for me.
