just put wheel adapters on

Today i put my wheel adapters on to fit my roh snyper rims i got the offset for the newer rims cause i gotem used for 550 with new tires, I couldnt use the crowbar to tighten the nuts on the wheel adapter i used a ratchet i think i gotem realy tight. Do i have anything to worry about by tightening them by hand, they wont fall offf right.

Adaptors or spacers? I'm assuming that they bolt on to the lugs, and then the wheels bolt on to the adaptors? I have always hand-tightened my lug nuts with no problems. (well, there was this one time, but that was an old toyota....) I usually tighten them as far as I can go, then jump on the lug wrench for good measure. Although, when I get new tires for my 16's, I am going to borrow my dad's air wrench to put my spacers back on. When I took them off to put my 14's back on the car, the spacers were loose! Go figure....the wheels were tight, but the spacers were loose....at least I did not put them on, there were already on when I got the car....

I used a torque wrench on mine. I used the standard rating of 84 ft/# for them, I doubt they will go anywhere.

Where did you buy your wheel spacers from? What was the cost?

I bought mine from www.skulte.com The fronts are 2.25" for $150 and the rears are 1.25" for $140. For a total of $290+ shipping. They are very well made and come with chrome lugnuts. Several people on here have them. Vette brakes also carry them but I think they are more expensive.

Just make sure you keep an eye on the lugs. check them everyday for the first few days to make sure your good. wouldnt want to see your wheel pass you up on the freeway
