92 RS vs 92 Z28

Are there any differences in the suspension between the 92 RS's and the 92 Z28's? If so, what are they?

Thanks,
Kevin

There are various springs and sway bars groups, but structurally they are the same.

1LE's got some different parts, like bushings and shocks, but I don't know if there was a shock difference between the RS and Z28.

The Z28 sway bars are way bigger then the wimpy little RS sway bars. The springs on the Z28's are slightly lower then the RS ones and also they're stiffer. Other then that...their pretty much the same. Unless of course the Z28 came with the "wonderbar" if so then tahts anotehr difference.

The Wonderbar......

..... is a steering brace that connects to each end of the front sway bar bushings. it is suppose to add more support to an area that is prone to cracking.

http://sethirdgen.org/wbar.htm

the guy that owns Town Down Solutions ( topdownsolutions@yahoo.com ) is producing his own wonderbar, the release date should be sometime in mid June and they sell for $40, there are also alot of autions on ebay but some stupid people are bidding up to $100 for a powder coated one, i think that is rediculous, also, Global West sells their own steering brace for $46 at www.thunderracing.com

no wonder bar on the 92's....

larger sway bars, better bushings, different shocks & struts, springs, tires, steering components........etc.

do a search there is a great difference, especially when you talk about the l98 models.

If the 92 RS came with 16" wheels it has pretty big sway bars and poly end link bushings.................mine did.
F41 Option I think.
But not as big as 1LE.

My 92 RS is a F41 and has a 34 mm front sway bar. I haven't checked the rear bar.
