its interesting actually because the vin says its an 84 v6 car, the VIN was swapped out for some unknown reason... im guessing 86-87, what difference(s) does it make?

So it is from a pre '89 car. That means that the rear you obtained is/was equipped with the Delco-Moraine cast iron calipers.
From what I have seen posted during the last two years (don't flame me) those calipers are not that desireable.
The '90-'92 rear caliper (PBR) setup on these rears is much more desireable.
I could be wrong, but that is the way it seems to me.
I recieve a great many emails from people wanting to know whrn my drum-to-disc (or early disc-to-late) conversion kit will be ready.
So I am simply going with the flow.
Thanx,ANDYZ28

The disk brakes made pre '89 aren't as good as the ones after, though I doubt they are any worse than the drum brakes so I wouldn't worry about it. I will be performing a similar procedure If I can get my hands on a disk rear.

i am not trying to be rude, and i do appreciate your advice on the quality of my rear, but that was not the nature of my question, i need to know if i need to make any adjustments to fit the rear in, as far as the e-brake and the brake lines go, thank you!!
