Rear end kit..Best one?

Gents,
Been doing a little research on Summit/Thunder/etc... for rear end kits. LCA's shocks etc. One of these guys is selling adjustable LCA's. Apart from a lowered car, are these of benefit? Which rear end set have you guys bought?

The adjustable LCA's will benefit any car. I picked up the LCA relocation bracket. My car is lowered 2" and with the LCA in setting 1 (of 2) I have no problems.

My rear suspension is as follows: Spohn relocation brackets and PHB, Lakewood LCA's, Belltech lowering springs, Take-off decarbon shocks.

Understood most of that, (am a beinner in chassis/suspension), but what are take-off decarbon shocks?
Also did you use bolt in or welded re-location brackets. I get the very definate impression that welded is the way to go?
Thanks,

No need to appologize for the spelling.. I am the same way.

Take-off DeCarbons are from SLP (www.slponline.com) They make the SS's and WS6's. The stock GM parts are taken off and their upgraded parts are put on. SLP then sells these stock GM parts. I have a posi unit from them, it was $99 instead of $300 for a similar new version . The parts from them have very little if any miles. I bought a set of tires from them and they all had the little "hairs" on them so I know they were barely used if at all.

OK,
Got the "take off" thing. What do DeCarbons give you over stock items?

Stock shocks? As in the original ones that came with the car? I found they are slightly stiffer than the KYB's that are direct replacements. As for them being different from the stock ones... well, I have no idea. I have never replaces a stock shock that wasn't shot. The DeCarbon's are $25(?) so they are a relatively cheap replacement.

I know importing them is going to kill you. You could try a company that deals with KONI over there.. you might actually be able to get a set of KONI's that are cheaper than importing some from the US.

Omega,
Thanks for the input. Koni are big over here, I'll give them a try.

As far as the rearend goes, I just installed BMR stuff and am very happy with the parts. I think there's a GP on their stuff right now too.

Here's a link to my parts installed:

Hmmm...that's wierd.

Anyhoo, try this one and click on the first and second links to the front and rear rebuilds respectively.

Sorry to interrupt here.. but I have to say thanks to ebmiller88
for putting together that awesome Yahoo photo album.
Things like that are the reason this board rules.

I think I will definitly try swapping my rear-end sometime this winter.
