Does any one happen to know any specs. on the WY6 Susp. Pack concerning the front and rear sway bar size,strut and shock valving,steering box ratio,and why it was only available one year-1984 with the 305 H.O.? The only information I have other than that, is 4 wheel disks were a no cost option with it. I have researched for years. I have yet to find anything. Thank You So Much in advance.

Thanks for moving the topic to the right place,Jobryan. Thanks for trying ,AndyZ28. Info is hard to find on the WY6. Even the dealer can't find anything. But half of the people that work there don't know anything about cars anyway.

 

Firechick, I didn't find any info on the WY6 option but I was able to find only 1 car on the internet that has that option. On their webpage they have their RPO codes and what they mean so maybe you can find somemore info on your car.

Thank You so much Jobryan!! I did't find much for a description,other than a 313 USD after the RPO. I am starting to wonder if it was maybe a rare option? I don't feel as alone now!LOL

 

 

I had the WY6 suspension in my car until I swapped out the sway bars. the sway bars are considerably smaller than the WS6. I put WS6 bars in my car both front and rear and side by side you could not mix up the WY6 with the WS6 parts. I had never heard of the WY6 suspension before until I found my build sheet under my drivers seat and it said WY6 performance suspension package. I have been asked about this before and people always say are you sure it wasn't WS6 but then they don't have anything to say once I show them the build sheet.
